Dean Playmate Edge Bass Guitar
The Dean Playmate Edge 09 is a decent starter bass. I used the bass for about four years and never ran into any major problems. It's simple and gets the job done, especially for a beginner. Four years ago I purchased the Dean Playmate bass. I bought it when I was 14 and just a teenager, and bought it with my own money. I played it constantly. It's lasted four over four years with nearly daily use. I ran into a few problems with it, however, though most were minor. For example, the bridge, pickups, cord plug in, and strap came loose at least once each. They were easily fixed by re-tightening them, but I think it is worth mentioning that it happened. In short, the Dean Playmate Edge bass is a fantastic starter bass. For bass guitars in general it is not very high quality. However, if you're looking to just play bass occasionally or are a beginner to this instrument, I think you should consider this bass. It's very simple, but it gets the job done. I would highly recommend it to any beginning bass player, though if you are more experienced I suggest you tread with a little more caution. Regardless, for its price, it is an excellent bass. |
